About the CEO Daniel E Wilson Sr. is the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of our non-profit organization. He brings robust leadership skills and a clear strategic direction, ensuring the success and growth of our organization. Daniel E. Wilson Sr. was born & raised in Lakewood, NJ, where he began his ministry at the tender age of 10 under the inspiration of his late father, Bishop Henry T. Wilson. In 1992, he positioned himself for ministry and obtained his first level of ministerial credentials, a Certificate of Exhorter license. In March 2003, he earned a Diploma of Practical Theology from the International Seminary of Plymouth, Florida. Following this, he completed the Ministerial Internship program, earning more educational credits through Lee University of Tennessee and Church of God International School of Ministry, consequently achieving the second level of credentialing ministry as an ordained Minister. In 2011, he ascended to the highest level of ministry, becoming an Ordained Minister Bishop under the leadership of Bishop Raphael Ware. Our CEO is not only the founder of "The Refuge House" but also the CEO and chef of Ezekiel's Catering for over 10 years and a seasoned cook of 30 years but has also served as the Pastor of Refuge House of Prayer for 11 years. His dedicated advocacy for the Ocean County community spans over 20 years, compassionate for world missions, contributions, and distribution to numerous initiatives such as Toys for Tots, Concerned Citizens in Action (CCA), food pantries, clothing shelters, Unity Pastors of Lakewood, and other affiliates. He has also contributed over two decades to counseling families, administration, program management, volunteer training and recruitment, congregational leadership, and community services management. In addition to his professional and community work, Daniel E. Wilson Sr. is a devoted husband of 30 years, a father to 4 young men, and 1 daughter, a goddaughter, and a grandfather to 16 grandchildren. He is unwavering in his commitment to support the prosperity and rehabilitation of poverty-stricken families, asserting their well-being, employment advancement, educational interests, health, mental health restoration, and financial stability. Embracing the belief that "The Greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the actions of its members" by Coretta Scott King, Daniel E. Wilson Sr. remains resolute in his convictions.
